The University has seen a significant increase in the federal government’s issuance of Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) over the past several years. To better track OTAs in our electronic records systems, the MyFunding award instrument type now includes Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) as an option (see Figure 1). For situations in which Pitt is the subrecipient, an option is available now to indicate that the prime instrument type is an OTA (see Figure 2).
